Art Director, Graphic Designer
Hey! I'm Medea. You might be thinking "how do I pronounce this lady’s name?” (Muh-dEE-uH). My name is complicated, but working with me is not!
I'm mom to 3 school-aged children which makes me a very experienced driver! I'm a midwesterner by birth; a southerner by marriage; and a European at heart. I have a Fine Arts Degree from Ball State University and UK equivalent Masters Degree in Theology. I spent the first half of my married life in East Dallas, the second half living in London, England, and currently reside in the homeland situated in North Dallas. Living overseas for 6 years provided invaluable experience and perspective on design, art, and aesthetics.
I love aesthetics and beautiful things, but people are always surprised to find out I'm also very practical and organized. I have worked with numerous for-profit and non-profit entities and a variety of budgets. I’m often told I’m a unicorn because I am equally as systematic, process-driven, and organized as I am creative which makes me a unique asset to any project. Occasionally I teach classes on the Enneagram to local businesses, and have also started large format painting again.
My graphic design and art director experience spans over 20 years and includes branding, marketing collateral, digital design, social media content, and some web design. Most recently, I served for 3 years as the Art Director at Nature Nate’s Honey Company, the best-selling branded honey in the United States. There I re-branded all of their collateral, established fresh brand guidelines, and helped facilitate exponential growth and revenue during Covid.
