Hi, I'm Katie. A Freelance Art Director and Designer based in Dallas, Texas.
 

Nashville born, Texas raised and Baylor Fine Arts educated, I’m an eclectic southern girl at my core. After working full time as an account manager at a large advertising agency in Dallas, I felt led to leave my corporate career path and lean into my art background -- hence my freelancing journey. Over the past 10+ years, I have worked directly with marketing agencies and clients in various capacities, allowing me to collaborate with brands, big and small, from coast to coast.

From project concept to execution, I offer a multitude of design services such as branding, print, digital and social, along with custom web and mobile app design. I have a full circle approach to my design process, where strategy and creativity work hand-in-hand. I also believe in EFFECTIVE DESIGN. High quality work can be modern and aesthetically pleasing without sacrificing usability for the end user.

 

Outside of my freelance world, I love to spend time with my husband Trent, our two crazy kiddos and our beloved Goldendoodle, Bigsby. I’m a painter on the side, an always nesting home owner, Bravo TV and food blogger junkie, and making lists and organizing all the things is my best de-stressor. I guess you could say I am half right-brained, half left-brained, and all the things in between!
